Our Mission
Transforming lives, one student at a time for his or her home school, college, or career.
Our goal is to ensure that every student is prepared for a successful transition to his or her home school or beyond by demonstrating improvement and progress in academics, attendance, behavior, and mental health. We work closely with the school districts to develop individual service plans for each student that include goals and indicators of success.
Student Testimonials
My overall experience with Parkway was good. The teachers have been good to me and helped me a lot with understanding work I struggled with. I also feel the teachers have tried to help me through rough times, especially when I was ready to give up. They stayed on me and encouraged me to push harder. I feel the teachers have helped me accomplish my goal of graduating.
My experience at Parkway was good, they are like family to me. They helped me academically and mentally. They helped me do better, and think about my actions and decisions before I do them. They helped me not do dumb stuff like post inappropriate or dumb stuff on any social medias. They helped me achieve my goal academically, be a better person, and making better decisions for myself.
I would not be going to 11th grade if it was not for Parkway. I now feel more comfortable asking questions and getting help when I don’t understand. Parkway is a helpful school and they will get you to where you need to be and reach you goals. Parkway does not give a lot of pointless assignments like regular school which I like. I plan to stay my 11th grade year as well because I feel like it’s better for me.
Parkway has helped me academically and taught me how to show my work like in math problems. The staff has been helpful. They also helped me with my decision making. I am able to make better decisions so I can go back to a regular school and be successful. I feel like I’ve grown a lot as a person.
Parkway has helped me realize that not everything is a big deal and not to trip and stress over anything that’s not that big. Staff has helped me a lot with thinking before I act and with my anger. I would recommend people to come here, it’s better than my home school, they and it’s actually help me.
Anyone who knows me knows my trials and tribulations. I have dropped out and stopped going but thanks to Parrkway Academy Central they never gave up on me and made sure I got my diploma this year. I finally completed everything and graduated…… I will be attending college to become a registered nurse.
Parkway has helped me by helping me focus on my work. It gave me the opportunity and helped me be open minded with getting close with people I thought I’d never get close to including staff and other kids. Parkway has helped me be patient and now I’m more confident in myself. Parkway has helped me stop and think before I react in situations. I also enjoyed the trips we did, it gave me more experiences. The staff at Parkway is kind and they really care.
