About Us

Pathways of Delaware has provided high quality academic, social-emotional, and behavioral health services to our community since 2006. Pathways of Delaware continues striving to help our clients manage and overcome challenges by providing them with the best care possible. Pathways of Delaware works diligently to offer each student access to education and resources that are used to cultivate the skills needed to become an active participant in their own development. We believe through education, counsel, skills-building, and unwavering support, that every student will have the capacity to improve regardless of their current level of functioning.

We take a collaborative approach to address each student’s needs. Our inter-disciplinary teams consist of the student, teachers, counselors, behavior interventionists, and paraprofessionals. We begin by helping each student identify his or her strengths and opportunities for growth; we then implement a therapeutic approach that is grounded in Trauma-Informed Care and Restorative Practices to support the growth and development of each student.

Pathways of Delaware values helping our students achieve personal growth and independence. In order to succeed, students must be involved with their own care; therefore, our work is designed to provide students with quality education and opportunities to practice the skills needed to be successful in their individual environments. By identifying opportunities for growth and striving to enhance personal strengths, our clients gain control of their lives and are able to successfully integrate into their local schools and communities.
